Tequila based Cocktails
Alamo Splash
  Collins Glass
  1 1/2 parts Tequila
1 part Orange juice
1/2 part Pineapple juice
1 splash Lemon-lime soda 
  Shake well with cracked ice
Strain into a collins glass
 
 
Aztec Gold
  Cocktail Glass
  1 part Tequila
1/2 part Amaretto
1/2 part Galliano
1/2 part Creme de Banane 
  Ice a shaker and add all ingredients
Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and serve.
 
 
Banana Margarita
  Cocktail Glass
  1 parts Tequila
1 part Creme de Banane
1/2 part Triple Sec
3/4 part Lemon juice
1/4 mashed banana
  Apply lemon juice to the rim of cocktail glass.
Dip in caster sugar.
Blend all ingredients with a glass of crushed ice.
Fill the cocktail glass and garnish with
a lemon-juice dipped banana.
 
 
Cactus Bite
  Cocktail Glass
  2 parts Tequila
2 parts Triple Sec
2 parts Drambuie
2 parts Lemon juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
1/2 tsp Superfine Sugar
  Combine & shake well with cracked ice.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
 
 
Cane Toad
  Highball Glass
  1 part Tequila
1 part Vodka
1 part Cherry Brandy
7 parts Soda Water
  Combine in a highball glass over ice.
Stir, add swizzle stick and serve.
 
 
Eldorado   Collins Glass
  2 parts Tequila
1 1/2 parts Lemon juice
1 tsp Honey
1 splash Lemon-lime soda
4 dashes of Angostura bitters
  Half fill a shaker with ice.
Add all ingredients
Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
Strain into a collins glass half filled with ice.
Garnish with a orange slice and serve.
 
 
Firebird   Rocks Gass
  1 1/2 parts Tequila
1/2 part Creme de Banane
1/2 part Lime juice
2 parts Lemonade
  Pour all ingredients in a rocks glass 
over broken ice and serve.
 
 
Frozen Margarita   Champagne Saucer
  3 parts Tequila
1 part Triple Sec
1 cup of crushed ice
2 tsp coarse salt
2 parts Lime juice
1 wedge Lime
  Apply lime juice to the rim of cocktail glass.
Dip in coarse salt and coat the glass rim.
Combine tequila, triple sec & lime juice in a blender. 
Add crushed ice and blend at high speed. 
Pour into the champagne saucer and serve.
 
 
Generation X
  Hurricane Glass
  1 part Tequila
1 part Triple Sec
1 part Blue Curacao
1 part Bourbon
1 part Melon Liqueur
1 bottle Zima
  Pour liqueurs into a Hurricane glass
Add the bottle of Zima
 
 
Hand Job
  Cocktail Glass
  1 part Tequila
1 part Vodka
1 part Banana Liqueur
1 part Baileys Irish Cream
  Combine in a shaker & shake well with ice.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
 
 
Iguana   Cocktail Glass
  1/2 part Tequila
1/2 part Vodka
1/4 part Kahlua
1/2 slice Lime
1 1/2 parts Sweet & Sour Mix
  Combine in a shaker & shake well with ice.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Add the slice of lime and serve.
 
 
Kahlua Twist
  Hurricane Glass
  2 parts Tequila
4 parts Kahlua
Top up with Chocolate Milk
  Combine tequila & kahlua in a hurricane glass.
Top up with chocolate milk stir well and serve.
 
 
Leapfrog   Old Fashioned Glass
  1 1/2 parts Tequila
1/2 part Sloe Gin
1 tsp Sweet Vermouth
4 dashes of Angostura bitters
  Pour tequila, sloe gin and vermouth
into an ice filled tumbler.
Stir well and garnish with a
wedge of lime and serve.
 
 
Mexican Cappuccino
  Coffee Mug
  1 part Tequila
1 part Kahlua
1 1/2 parts Cappuccino
  Pour tequila & kahlua into a coffee mug.
Brew cappuccino & fill mug with espresso.
Top with milk froth and serve.
 
 
Peach Tequila
  Collins Glass
  1 part Tequila
4 parts Peach juice
4 parts Pineapple juice
1 wedge Lime
  Combine all ingredients in a
collins glass over ice.
Stir and serve with wedge of lime.
 
 
Purple Gecko
  Margarita Glass
  1 1/2 parts Tequila
1/2 part Blue Curcao
1/2 part Curacao
1/2 part Lime Juice
1 part Cranberry Juice
1 part Sweet & Sour Mix
  Combine ingredients in a shaker.
Strain into a salt rimmed margarita glass.
Garnish with wedge of lime and serve.
 
 
Tequila Sunrise
  Highball Glass
  2 parts Tequila
Top up Orange juice
2 dashes of Grenadine
  Pour tequila into a highball glass with ice.
Top up with orange juice.
Add grenadine by tilting the glass and
pouring the grenadine by flipping the
bottle vertically quickly. The grenadine
should sink straight to the bottom and float
slowly to the top. Garnish with stirrer, straw & cherry orange.
