2 tsp water
1 tsp super-fine sugar
1 twist of lemon peel | | Half fill shaker with ice.
Combine sugar, water, lemon and brandy.
Shake thoroughly.

1 tsp water
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
Soda water
dash of grated nutmeg
| | Pour brandy over ice in a highball glass.
Disolve sugar in the water & add to brandy.
Fill with soda water and stir.
Float port on top.
